My favorite wing recipe by far. If you’re new to cooking, this Sticky Ginger Soy Glazed Chicken Wings is probably a good recipe to start with because it’s so simple and it’s finger lickin’ good!

1 kg Chicken Wings
1 Inch ginger
6 to 8 cloves garlic
1/3 cup Brown Sugar
2 tablespoon Rice Vinegar
2 to 3 Bird’s Eye Chilli
1/4 cup Honey
1/4 cup Light Soy Sauce

1 Kosher salt (to taste)
1 Ground White Pepper (to taste)

For Basting:
3 tablespoon Honey
1 tablespoon Dark Soy Sauce
1 tablespoon Sriracha

For the garnish:
2 stalk of cilantro, finely chopped

1. Preheat oven to 200 C.

2. In a food processor, combine ginger, garlic, brown sugar, rice vinegar, chilli, honey and light soy sauce.

3. For the baste, in a small bowl combine all ingredients and mix well. Set aside.

4. Marinade the chicken wings for at least one hour. Place the marinated wings on a baking tray and cover with aluminium foil. Baste every 20 minutes. Bake for 30 minutes and remove foil. Then leave for another 15 minutes, or until wings are deep golden brown and crisp.

5. Garnish with cilantro and serve immediately while it’s hot and sticky!

Bon appétit!
